Autumn term, 2024 - What have the Romans ever done for us?
Whether you recognise what a mosaic print is, enjoy watching Gladiators or know the history behind Hadrian's Wall, you will soon realise how the Roman invasion changed the geography and culture of Great Britain.
We will explore artefacts and ask questions to solve how different our daily lives are to the people of Ancient Rome, but also to identify how many similarities our modern culture shares.
Autumn term 1 2024 - Where in the world is Nigeria?
This half term we are finding out about Nigeria and learning some geography skills like using atlases and using and making maps.
We will be building a vehicle in DT and learning about beliefs that Christians have around the world. In literacy, we will write adventure stories and also newspaper reports. In maths, we are learning about place value and number operations. In science, we will be learning about living things and how to classify them.
